“ We long lined our boat at Polis Bay, which sits at the bottom of the road leading up to Stavros, a beautiful traditional Greek Village. Delicious Taverna sits just on the town square and is absolutely authentic and traditionally Greek, we were just about the only non Greeks in the Taverna. The service was fantastic, the portion sizes were about the most generous we have had in the Ionian. The meet dishes, Lamb stamna and Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection on the grill and the Greek salad was huge and enough for 4 to share. Moussaka was also a generous portion. We had a fantastic meal in beautiful surroundings and were made to feel genuinely welcome, what a gorgeous little gem of a taverna and village! ”
